Job description

Overview

Solutions Architects are energy industry specialists who support sales by architecting and demonstrating solutions tailored to our clients' workflows and needs. They collaborate across functions—sales, services, development, and technical teams—to ensure deals include solutions that address customer requirements. The role aligns key decision-makers with the workflows supported by Quorum software.

Solutions Architects possess strong technical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and industry knowledge—particularly in planning, economics, and reserves—with a problem-solving aptitude.

Responsibilities
  1. Identify sales opportunities and define value propositions.
  2. Create and deliver product/solution presentations and software demonstrations.
  3. Proficiency in solutions and highlighting key benefits.
  4. Develop tailored demonstrations based on client discovery.
  5. Collaborate with account managers to expand client engagement.
  6. Participate in account and opportunity planning.
  7. Respond technically to RFPs.
  8. Architect client workflows and understand client usage patterns.
  9. Build trust as a technical advisor on business processes.
  10. Design workflows based on Quorum offerings to address specific issues.
  11. Manage client interactions and stay connected with technical leaders.
  12. Participate in client meetings, trade-shows, webinars, and conferences.
  13. Engage with go-to-market teams and create content for sales and marketing.
  14. Develop standards for optimal workflows and align client expectations with delivery teams.
  15. Gather and relay market, product, and industry insights.
  16. Maintain knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and technology evolution.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical or business discipline.
  2. Strong technical aptitude and understanding of software architecture.
  3. Knowledge of databases, development languages, cloud/on-premise solutions, and APIs.
  4. Familiarity with Quorum Planning, Economics, and Reserves solutions; willingness to learn.
  5. Experience with Business Intelligence tools.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  7. Experience with large NOC implementations.
  8. Self-motivated, results-oriented, with an innovative problem-solving mindset.
  9. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  10. Deep knowledge of Quorum products and oil & gas workflows.
  11. Experience mapping client workflows and benchmarking against best practices.
  12. Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
