Job summary

Plsenergy is seeking a Solar Site Engineer to supervise the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of solar PV systems on site in Dubai. You will ensure work meets drawings, specs, and safety regulations, coordinating with PMs, contractors, and clients.

Your role includes monitoring progress, preparing reports, inspecting materials, and overseeing cable laying, mounting structures, panel and inverter installation, and system handover readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience in solar projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities and installation of solar PV systems.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and clients.
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Inspect materials and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Ensure compliance with UAE health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Supervise electrical cable laying, mounting structures, solar panel installation, inverter installation, and system commissioning.
• Identify and resolve technical issues at the project site.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks before project handover.
• Maintain project documentation and site records.
