Job summary

L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced civil engineering lead to oversee and execute all civil activities for utility-scale Solar PV projects. You will ensure construction is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in line with project specifications and contractual requirements.

You will coordinate with survey, QA/QC, HSE, electrical, mechanical, and commissioning teams to ensure smooth project execution, monitor subcontractors, and verify quality

Responsibilities

Supervise civil construction activities including site grading, earthworks, roads, drainage systems, foundations and PV mounting structure foundations
Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, method statements and technical specifications
Coordinate with survey, QA/QC, HSE, electrical, mechanical and commissioning teams to ensure smooth project execution
Monitor subcontractor performance and construction progress against project schedules
Ensure civil works comply with project specifications, local regulations and relevant international standards
Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues related to construction activities
Review material submittents, work inspection requests (WIRs) and quality documentation
Verify quantities and support preparation of progress reports and client submissions
Coordinate with consultants, clients and authorities for inspections and approvals
