Job summary

SWORD Group is seeking a Senior Software Solutions Architect in the UAE to translate enterprise architecture policies into CDP standards, and provide end‑to‑end architecture guidance to product teams and vendors. The role focuses on security, cloud, data, and non‑functional requirements across enterprise solutions.

You will develop reference architectures, templates, and governance artefacts, review design artefacts, and promote reuse of shared services while guiding delivery teams through

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant software technology experience including solution architecture.
• Experience developing architecture standards, templates, processes and governance artefacts.
• Experience reviewing secure, scalable, integrated enterprise solutions.
• Strong knowledge of architecture across application, integration, data, cloud and non-functional areas.

Responsibilities

• Translate enterprise architecture, security, cloud, integration, data, and technology policies into clear CDP standards and guidelines.
• Develop and maintain architecture principles, reference architectures, approved patterns, templates, checklists, processes, and gates.
• Create and maintain architecture governance artefacts, including HLD/LLD templates, review checklists, risk registers, and approval workflows.
• Provide hands-on architecture support during ideation, planning, sourcing, design and delivery.
• Guide product teams and vendors on solution design, technology selection, integration, data, security and non-functional requirements.
• Review HLDs, LLDs and integration designs; identify risks, gaps, dependencies, non-compliance and remediation.
• Promote reuse of approved shared services, components and design patterns.
• Support architecture quality gates and provide recommendations and approvals.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Solutions Architect having vast experience in translating enterprise architecture policies and organizational standards into practical CDP architecture standards, templates, processes, and reusable artefacts, while providing end to end architecture guidance and assurance to product teams and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate enterprise architecture, security, cloud, integration, data, and technology policies into clear CDP technical standards and guidelines.
• Develop and maintain architecture principles, reference architectures, approved patterns, templates, checklists, processes, and quality-gate criteria.
• Create and maintain architecture governance artefacts, including HLD and LLD templates, review checklists, decision records, risk registers, compliance assessments, and approval workflows.
• Provide hands-on architecture support during ideation, planning, sourcing, design, and delivery.
• Guide product teams and vendors on solution design, technology selection, integration, data, security, cloud, and non-functional requirements.
• Review HLDs, LLDs, integration designs, and other technical artefacts prepared by delivery teams. Identify architecture risks, gaps, dependencies, non-compliance, and required remediation.
• Promote reuse of approved shared services, components, and design patterns.
• Support architecture quality gates and provide architecture recommendations and approval decisions.

Minimum Qualifications Needed

• 8+ years of relevant software technology experience, including solution architecture.
• Strong hands on experience in developing architecture standards, templates, processes, reference architectures, and governance artefacts.
• Experience reviewing and guiding secure, scalable, and integrated enterprise solutions.
• Strong knowledge of application, integration, data, cloud, security, and non functional architecture.
• Strong technical documentation, stakeholder-management, and vendor management skills.
• Government or large-enterprise experience is preferred.
