Job summary

Epergne Solutions in Dubai seeks an experienced Solution Architect to lead end-to-end architecture for web, mobile, microservices, APIs and cloud-native platforms. You will define standards, patterns, and best practices while translating business needs into secure, scalable technology solutions.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture.
• 5+ years designing web/mobile apps, microservices and APIs.
• 5+ years with cloud-native tech, containers, Kubernetes/OpenShift, service mesh, virtualization.
• Hands-on experience as a Solution Architect (2–4 years).
• 3+ years in cybersecurity/information security.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, engineering, and cybersecurity.
• Experience with event-driven architecture, event streams, message brokers, and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, encryption, logging/monitoring, OWASP Top 10, and cloud security.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, OCI, and OpenShift.
• TOGAF certification preferred/required.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native infra.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solutions balancing user experience, performance, scalability, reliability and security.
• Architect web and mobile apps, microservices, APIs and supporting ecosystems.
• Develop and maintain reusable architectural patterns, standards and guidelines.
• Design integrations across mobile apps, microservices, APIs, event streams, and cloud platforms.
• Apply cloud-native technologies including containers, Kubernetes/OpenShift, service mesh and virtualization.
• Ensure security requirements: authentication, authorization, encryption, and cloud security.
• Collaborate with information security teams to protect data confidentiality, integrity and availability.
