Job description

Synopsis

The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing applications that adhere to best practices and standards set by the Software Engineering chapter.

Accountabilities

• Contribute to low-level architecture and technical design aligned with high-level solutions and business requirements.
• Perform peer code reviews, providing feedback and recommendations to improve team quality.
• Recommend coding standards and best practices.
• Work within an agile development team to analyze and decompose stories into manageable tasks.
• Proactively identify new frameworks, tools, and processes to enhance development efficiency.
• Ensure the quality of your own deliverables from start to finish.
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members.
• Communicate clearly and effectively throughout all phases of implementation.

Education & Experience

• 4-6 years of experience following Scrum methodology (certification is a plus).
• 4-6 years of experience in software development, including the full development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of SAFe is desirable.
• Experience working in a fast-paced software engineering environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to contribute to low-level and technical design discussions.
• Ability to interact effectively with Solution Architects.
• Knowledge of design patterns, industry best practices, and standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is mandatory.
• Proficiencies with: {List relevant proficiencies based on the Pod}.
