Job summary

Evollabs is building a next‑generation Network Operating System (NOS) and NOS management suite for data centers and telcos. Join the Hardware Abstraction Layer team and work with advanced ASICs from leading vendors, bridging hardware and software in high‑performance networking gear.

You will design and optimize multithreaded C code on Linux, collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate drivers, and translate routing protocols into hardware behavior.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong C programming skills and experience with Linux OS internals.
• Knowledge of Ethernet/IP protocols and routing protocols (BGP/OSPF).
• Ability to read standards (RFCs/IEEE) and translate them into code.
• Hands-on debugging of multithreaded systems and navigating large codebases (>3GB).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement NOS components that program and manage advanced network ASICs.
• Debug, optimize, and improve multithreaded C code on Linux-based systems.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate drivers and SDKs.
• Translate routing protocols into hardware behavior with control‑plane teams.
• Participate in design reviews and support QA with automated tests for ASIC software.
