Software Engineer – Finacle Testing

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in Finacle Core Banking and automation testing.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for both functional and technical testing of the Finacle product, ensuring high performance, quality, and alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and execute test plans and scripts for Finacle-based applications
2. Perform automation testing aligned with core banking systems
3. Validate Finacle customizations, interfaces, APIs (Connect24, Finacle Integrator)
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, product, and client teams
5. Identify bugs, performance issues, and propose solutions
6. Engage in Agile-based development processes
7. Maintain comprehensive documentation for all test cases and results

Required Skills & Experience:

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field

Finacle & Technical Skills:

1. 5+ years of experience in Finacle Core Banking (Infosys / Edgeverve)
2. In-depth knowledge of Finacle 11 architecture and customization layers
3. Experience with Finacle scripting, Unix shell scripting, and report design (MRT & Jasper)
4. Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL / SQL, stored procedures, and triggers
5. Familiarity with EOD / BOD processes, menu customization, and Finacle APIs

Functional Skills:

1. Core banking domain knowledge and terminology
2. Finacle CRM / Admin module experience (FINFADM / SSOADM)
3. Finacle certification (preferred)
4. Understanding of secure coding, unit testing, and documentation standards

Soft Skills:

1. Strong communication and client-facing skills
2. Self-driven and capable of working independently and within teams
3. Ability to mentor teams and lead technical conversations
