Job summary

Anotech is seeking an experienced Automation Tester in Dubai to design, implement, and maintain end-to-end MMI test scenarios using Cypress and TypeScript. Candidates should have 2 to 3 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields, and strong foundations in JavaScript/TypeScript. The role requires proactive identification of test scenarios and close collaboration with development and QA teams. Fluency in English is essential, with French or Arabic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end MMI test scenarios using Cypress and TypeScript.
• Translate business and functional requirements into automated test scenarios.
• Document MMI scenarios clearly (test logic, assumptions, expected behavior).
• Proactively identify missing scenarios, edge cases, and risks.
• Actively support and train Product and QA teams in writing end-to-end MMI test scenarios.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to automation best practices.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2 to 3 years of experience writing TypeScript and Cypress scripts for web MMI testing.
• Strong foundations in JavaScript/TypeScript development.
• Solid experience with end-to-end test automation.
• Good understanding of web application behavior and user flows.
• Strong experience in testing, verification, and validation processes for software applications.
• Experience with other testing or automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working on complex or safety-critical MMIs.
• High fluency in spoken and written English. Candidates fluent in French or Arabic will be preferred.
