Job Description: Automation Test Engineer

Callsign, founded in 2012, aims to make Digital Identity simple and secure. We are seeking a talented Automation Test Engineer to join our team and help us revolutionize digital interactions.

Responsibilities:

1. Execute sprint testing and release testing independently.
2. Estimate daily testing tasks for medium and high complexity automation projects.
3. Enhance and create automation frameworks tailored to project needs.
4. Review automation code, considering design patterns, modularization, and user libraries for reuse.
5. Explain automation approaches to peers and clients, and work independently on testing solutions.
6. Utilize test management tools like TestRail, Jira, or Xray effectively.
7. Use automation tools such as Selenium and Rest Assured proficiently.
8. Maintain and create testing pipelines using CI/CD tools.
9. Share best practices on automation testing with the team.

Test Planning and Execution:

1. Define and implement test plans and automation strategies based on development methodologies.
2. Manage multiple automation testing tracks and assist team members in estimation and planning.
3. Ensure timely delivery of test execution results.
4. Collect metrics and generate reports to maintain a 100% test platform pass rate in SIT.
5. Create and adhere to defect SLAs, ensuring no Sev1 or Sev2 defect leakage to higher environments.
6. Participate in defect triage meetings and update defect details accordingly.
7. Advise Tech Leads on testing estimates for the team.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3-6 years of automation experience in Web and API applications using Rest Assured, Selenium, etc.
• Mobile automation experience is a plus.
• Strong experience in API testing automation and Core Java.
• Proficiency in Java 8 and Selenium with minimal support.
• Experience in implementing BDD with Cucumber, Serenity, or Gherkin.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitLab.
• Willingness to learn Swagger and Docker is preferred.
