Qualifications

• A current student, recent graduate, or early‑career candidate in marketing, communications, media, business, or a related field.
• Strong written and spoken English skills.
• Genuine interest in social media and content marketing.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn and understanding of professional content engagement.
• Canva/Figma skills and a good eye for clean, consistent design.
• Strong attention to detail and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Research content ideas, industry topics, trends, and relevant news.
• Support the development of monthly social media content calendars.
• Draft captions and short‑form content for LinkedIn.
• Create and adapt social media visuals using Canva.
• Support the creation and editing of short‑form video content.
• Schedule and publish approved content.

This internship is an opportunity to work directly with the core team of PurpleInk and gain experience across real client accounts, not simulated projects.

About the role

We are looking for a creative, organised, and curious Social Media Marketing Intern to support content creation and day-to-day social media activities.

The role will focus primarily on LinkedIn/Instagram/TikTok, with opportunities to contribute to other marketing channels and formats. You will help turn ideas, industry insights, and client updates into content that is clear, relevant, and worth reading.

What you will do

• Research content ideas, industry topics, trends, and relevant news
• Support the development of monthly social media content calendars
