Job summary

M+C Saatchi Middle East in Dubai is seeking a Freelance Social Media Manager for a 6-month onsite assignment. You will lead day-to-day social activity across multiple channels, working with the Social Media Director and teams to deliver content, calendars, briefs and reporting.

You will translate strategy into actionable briefs, coordinate creative and production teams, manage publishing, community management and monthly performance insights, and support strategic development for key client

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing social media accounts for brands or agencies.
• Strong knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and emerging platforms.
• Experience developing content calendars and briefing creative and production teams.
• Strong client-management and project-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of social content, community management, analytics and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• UAE or regional experience is advantageous.

Freelance 6 months contract - onsite

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of social activity across multiple channels, working closely with the Social Media Director, Social Media Executives, Community Management team, creatives and production partners.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Lead the development of monthly social content plans and calendars.
• Manage day-to-day client communication and social media requirements.
• Translate the wider social strategy into clear, actionable content briefs.
• Coordinate Social Media Executives, Community Managers, designers, editors and production teams.
• Manage content workflows from briefing and production through to approvals, publishing and reporting.
• Ensure content is platform-first, relevant and consistent across each social channel.
• Identify reactive and proactive social opportunities.
• Oversee publishing and community management activity.
• Review social performance and contribute to monthly reporting and recommendations.
• Maintain clear timelines, priorities and responsibilities across the account.
• Support shoots and content production where required.
• Work closely with the Social Media Director on strategic development and senior client requirements.
