Job description

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing our social media accounts for Kendo Middle East.

They will lead social media strategy, build and execute the social strategy across platforms, manage the content calendar, drive follower growth and engagement, and report on performance to turn insights into action.

Additionally, they will brief agencies on local content production and manage our community, the Fenty Fam.

Reports to: Senior Marketing Manager

Team Members: Social Intern

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement social media strategies aligned with business goals
  • Stay updated with current social media technologies and trends
  • Set objectives and report on ROI
  • Manage social media budget
  • Maintain relationships with social media partners such as Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms

Social Media Execution

  • Create and manage social media content calendar
  • Generate, edit, and share engaging content daily, including text, photos, videos, and news

Reporting & Analysis

  • Analyze competitor activity and recommend improvements
  • Suggest and implement new features to enhance brand awareness
  • Research latest trends to grow social media presence regionally

Profile Requirements

  • Fluent in English and Arabic (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
  • 5-6 years of experience in the Middle East within Beauty or Retail industry
  • Experience in setting up new social accounts and content management
  • Ability to manage creative agencies
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Client-centric, omnichannel mindset
  • Creative and solution-oriented
  • Ability to analyze key metrics for strategic decisions
  • Strong project management skills to handle multiple workstreams
