Job summary

baaboo is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to elevate our digital presence in a fast‑moving environment. You will develop strategies, craft engaging content, and drive cross‑department projects with autonomy.

The role requires native German, very good English, and a proven track record in social media management. Remote options may apply; Dubai base is preferred with flexibility for international work.

About Your Role:

We are looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Manager to support and further develop our social media activities. The ideal candidate brings solid experience in digital communication, content strategy, user behavior, and social media trends.

For this position, we are looking for a proactive, reliable, and creative individual who can work independently, contribute new ideas, manage projects, and support different departments with professional social media expertise.

The candidate must speak German at native level. Applications from candidates without native-level German language skills cannot be considered.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement social media strategies
• Create creative content ideas for various social media platforms
• Plan, coordinate, and manage social media projects
• Analyze user behavior, trends, and platform performance
• Support the creation of engaging and brand-aligned content
• Work closely with internal departments on social media-related topics
• Provide professional assessments and recommendations in the area of digital communication
• Monitor current social media trends and identify new opportunities
• Support content planning, campaign ideas, and community-related topics
• Contribute new creative ideas and improve existing social media processes
• Independently manage and take responsibility for assigned projects
• Support the team with strong social media expertise and strategic thinking

Your Profile:

• Very good written and spoken English
• At least 5 years of experience in Social Media Management
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and digital communication
• Good understanding of user behavior and online communities
• Creative mindset and the ability to develop new and engaging ideas
• High level of responsibility and strong initiative
• Structured, reliable, and solution-oriented working style
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Experience in content planning, campaign development, and performance analysis
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
• Experience with AI tools for content creation, research, or process improvement is an advantage
• Ideally based in Dubai; remote work from another country is also possible
