Job summary

MENA TECH is seeking a Social Media Content Creator / Video Editor to join its Amman office and support daily content across Arabic and English platforms. This hands-on role focuses on creating, editing, publishing, and optimizing short-form videos and captions for multiple social networks.

Arabic content will form the majority of workload while English content remains an ongoing responsibility. The ideal candidate should have strong Arabic storytelling, solid short-form video editing

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in social media content creation.
• Strong Arabic writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English writing.
• Hands-on experience editing short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).
• Good understanding of technology, consumer tech products, gadgets, apps, and digital services.
• Ability to write captions, scripts, hooks, and social media copy.
• Experience with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar.
• Ability to manage daily content tasks across multiple platforms.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and editorial quality.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, publish, and optimize daily social media content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and X.
• Write Arabic and English captions, post copy, hooks, short scripts, story ideas, and platform-specific content.
• Edit short-form vertical videos for Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
• Add captions, subtitles, pacing, visuals, transitions, and social media-friendly formatting.
• Turn articles, news, interviews, event footage, announcements, and reports into engaging social-first posts and short videos.
• Create content around technology, business, consumer tech, gadgets, apps, digital services, launches, and industry trends.
• Support LinkedIn content for business leaders, professionals, and technology audiences.
• Monitor comments, messages, and mentions when needed.
• Track content performance and suggest improvements for hooks, formats, timing, captions, and publishing.

This is a hands-on role focused on creating, editing, publishing, and optimizing daily social media content, especially short-form videos, captions, scripts, hooks, and platform-ready posts.
