Job description

As Social Media Account Director, you will lead social media strategy and execution for key accounts, overseeing a team of content creators, community managers, and strategists. You ll act as the strategic lead and trusted advisor to clients, ensuring campaigns align with business goals while pushing creative boundaries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and grow client relationships with a focus on long-term strategic value.
  • Lead the development and presentation of social media strategies and integrated campaign plans.
  • Oversee the creation and curation of platform-specific content calendars, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives.
  • Manage a team of social media managers, content creators, and community managers.
  • Drive performance through data and insights-analyzing campaign metrics, optimizing results, and delivering regular performance reports.
  • Collaborate closely with creative, media, and PR teams for fully integrated campaigns.
  • Stay on top of platform trends, algorithm changes, and cultural moments to keep campaigns relevant and innovative.
  • Lead new business pitches and contribute to organic growth from existing clients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7-9 years experience in social media and digital marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Agency background is essential, preferably in an integrated or creative agency.
  • Proven experience leading multi-channel social media campaigns across platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of content strategy, influencer partnerships, and paid social.
  • A natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and client relationship skills.
  • Experience working with regional clients (GCC) is a plus.
  • Arabic fluency is advantageous but not mandatory.
