Job summary

ApplyIn is seeking an experienced SOC Analyst – L2 to join our Abu Dhabi cybersecurity team. You will monitor security events, investigate escalated incidents, and strengthen the organization's security posture through collaboration with cybersecurity and IT teams.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years in SOC or cybersecurity operations, with hands-on Level-2 investigations and proficiency in SIEM (Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar) and EDR/XDR solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years hands-on SOC or cybersecurity operations experience.
• Experience performing Level 2 security investigations and incident analysis.
• Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, IBM QRadar).
• Familiarity with EDR/XDR and network security monitoring.
• Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework and incident-response methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze escalated security alerts and cybersecurity incidents.
• Monitor security events using SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, and related platforms.
• Perform log analysis, correlate security events, and identify threats across networks, systems, and endpoints.
• Detect Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) and assess incident severity and business impact.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting and support containment, remediation, and root‑cause investigations.
• Review and enhance detection rules, alert configurations, and SOC procedures.
• Prepare detailed investigation reports and document incident findings.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and IT teams to improve monitoring and incident‑response capabilities.
