Job summary

Signature Network is seeking an experienced Smart Mobility Solutions Lead to drive the design, deployment, and integration of advanced ITS and smart mobility solutions supporting Abu Dhabi’s urban mobility initiatives.

You will lead large-scale mobility technology programs, develop ATMS and integrated mobility platforms, oversee ITS hardware deployment (CCTV, VMS, sensors), enable V2X/C-ITS, MaaS, and data analytics, and coordinate with TMC/ICCC partners and multiple vendors.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of professional ITS or Smart Mobility experience.
• Hands-on deployment and integration of ITS hardware.
• Experience with ATMS, V2X/C-ITS, and MaaS ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment and integration of Smart Mobility and ITS across urban transport networks.
• Define architecture for ATMS and integrated mobility platforms.
• Drive adoption of AI, predictive analytics, IoT, and digital twin technologies within mobility systems.
• Lead ITS infrastructure deployment including CCTV, VMS, sensors, and roadside equipment.
• Coordinate multi-vendor ITS platforms and control center operations.

Role Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Smart Mobility Solutions Lead to lead the design, deployment, and integration of advanced Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and smart mobility solutions supporting urban mobility initiatives in Abu Dhabi. The role will drive large-scale mobility technology programs including advanced traffic management systems, connected vehicle infrastructure, smart parking solutions, and integrated mobility platforms aligned with smart city strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and deployment of Smart Mobility and ITS solutions across urban transport networks
• Define system architecture for Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS) and integrated
• mobility platforms
• Support smart city initiatives through implementation of digital transportation infrastructure and urban mobility frameworks
• Drive adoption of AI, predictive analytics, IoT platforms, and digital twin technologies within mobility systems
• Lead implementation, configuration, and integration of ITS infrastructure including adaptive traffic signal control systems (SCATS, SCOOT, UTOPIA)
• Deploy and manage ITS roadside hardware: CCTV cameras, VMS, VVDS, OHVD, WIM, RWIS, AID, TVR, LCS/SCS systems
• Lead implementation of Connected and Autonomous Vehicle infrastructure (V2X, V2I, C-ITS)
• Enable Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) ecosystems integrating public transport, parking, and shared mobility
• Deploy Smart Parking Management Systems (PMS) and Parking Guidance Systems (PGS)
• Lead integration across multi-vendor ITS platforms and manage control center operations
• Deploy IoT-enabled sensor networks, utilize 5G platforms, and implement data analytics tools

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Transportation, Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering (or related field)
• Minimum 14+ years of professional experience in ITS, Smart Mobility, or Traffic Technology projects
• Proven hands-on experience with ITS field hardware deployment and integration
• Experience with traffic signal controllers, CCTV, VMS, vehicle detection, enforcement cameras, smart parking sensors
• Demonstrated experience with adaptive traffic management systems and signal optimization technologies
• Experience integrating field ITS devices with Traffic Management Centres (TMC) or ICCC
• Strong knowledge of ATMS, C-ITS, V2X/V2I, MaaS ecosystems
• Familiarity with IoT, 5G, AI, data analytics, and digital twin platforms in a mobility context
• Experience with ITS communication protocols: TCP/IP, Modbus, RS485, RS232
