Role Description

We are looking for a full-time Slitting Operator to join our on-site team in Umm Al Quwain. The Slitting Operator will be responsible for operating slitting machines, monitoring and adjusting machine settings, inspecting finished products for quality, and maintaining equipment. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and operating slitting machines to cut materials to specified widths, ensuring production schedules are met, and troubleshooting any machine issues that may arise. The operator is also expected to adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Experience operating slitting machines and other related equipment.

Candidates with experience operating slitting machines equipped with online die cut functionality will be given priority.

• Ability to read and interpret work orders and specifications
• Strong mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot machinery
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality control
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus ko
