Job summary

Al Sahraa Group is seeking experienced Skilled Helpers to join its Offshore Logistics team on Offshore Islands, UAE. You will support offshore lifting and rigging operations while upholding the highest health, safety, and operations standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of oil & gas field services experience, at least 6 months offshore lifting experience in the last 2 years, and strong English communication skills. Rigging/lifting certs and safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Age 21 years or older.
• Higher Secondary Certificate or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in oil & gas field services.
• At least 6 months offshore lifting ops in last 2 years.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of international lifting hand signals.
• Experience using chain blocks.
• Ability to work under Slingers/Riggers supervision.

Responsibilities

We are seeking experienced Skilled Helpers to join our Offshore Logistics team. The successful candidate will support offshore lifting and rigging operations while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in offshore lifting and rigging operations under the supervision of qualified Slingers/Riggers.
• Follow international crane hand signals for lifting and moving heavy loads.
• Operate and assist with chain blocks and lifting equipment safely.
• Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and company standards.
• Participate in emergency response activities as required.
• Support site HSE initiatives, including HSE Observation Cards (HSEOC).

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Higher Secondary School Certificate (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar oil and gas field services.
• At least 6 months of offshore lifting operations experience within the last 2 years.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Thorough knowledge of international lifting and crane hand signals.
• Experience using chain blocks.
• Ability to work under the supervision of competent Slingers/Riggers.

Required Certifications

• Valid Rigging Training Course certificate.
• Valid third-party competency certification for rigging/lifting operations.
