We are seeking a Sitecore Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the technical management and support of our consolidated Sitecore websites hosted on PaaS. This role plays a key part in driving the CMS unification strategy and ensuring the stability, consistency, and quality of our Sitecore ecosystem across multiple websites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Sitecore development and deployment activities across a multi-site architecture.
- Manage DevOps practices, including release planning, CI/CD pipelines, and code branching strategies across teams and vendors.
- Oversee a shared infrastructure and single backend CMS supporting multiple websites, ensuring efficient use of reusable and shared Sitecore components.
- Review code delivered by vendors and internal teams, ensuring alignment with Sitecore best practices and internal standards.
- Support, configure, and administer Sitecore environments hosted on PaaS, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability across all sites.
- Support and optimize search capabilities across consolidated websites, including configuration of Sitecore search indexes, shared search components, and integration with Azure Search or Solr as needed.
- Collaborate with QA and Architecture teams to ensure alignment on testing, security, and solution design.
- Drive CMS unification, enforcing consistent configurations, content governance, workflows, and publishing models.
- Implement and maintain robust content governance policies, including user roles, permissions, and workflow controls.
- Maintain thorough documentation of architecture, release cycles, governance models, and environment configurations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with Sitecore in PaaS environments.
- Strong understanding of Sitecore architecture, development lifecycle, and deployment governance.
- Hands-on experience managing multi-website environments using a centralized CMS approach with shared components.
- Demonstrated expertise in reviewing vendor code and ensuring compliance with best practices and quality standards.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and CI/CD toolsets, with exposure to DevSecOps practices.
- Sitecore certification is a plus.
