Site Supervisor - Construction

The Site Supervisor - Construction is responsible for overseeing day-to-day on-site activities to ensure that construction projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with approved plans and timelines. This role involves coordinating labor, materials, subcontractors, and site logistics while maintaining strict compliance with UAE construction regulations and safety standards. Working in a dynamic site environment, the supervisor acts as the link between the project management team and on-ground execution.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervising construction site activities to ensure work is progressing as per schedule and quality standards.
2. Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers to manage daily tasks and resolve operational issues.
3. Monitoring the use of materials and equipment to avoid wastage and ensure proper utilization.
4. Inspecting work performed to ensure it meets approved drawings, specifications, and UAE building codes.
5. Enforcing site safety procedures and ensuring all workers follow health and safety guidelines.
6. Maintaining site logs, preparing daily progress reports, and updating project management on work status.
7. Supporting the project engineer and site manager in resolving technical or construction challenges.
8. Conducting toolbox talks and safety briefings in alignment with UAE labor and safety regulations.
9. Ensuring that inspections, permits, and approvals are completed as per regulatory requirements.
10. Coordinating material deliveries and ensuring timely availability of resources on-site.

Requirements:

1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. 4-6 years of experience in site supervision within the UAE construction sector.
3. Strong knowledge of UAE construction laws, safety regulations, and building codes.
4. Proven experience in managing on-site teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
5. Familiarity with reading technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
6. Good command of project documentation, site records, and reporting procedures.
7. Effective leadership and communication skills with the ability to resolve site issues quickly.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management tools.
