About the Role

We are seeking a talented Site Reliability Engineer to join myZoi. Your role will be crucial in ensuring our cloud-native, regulated fintech application maintains high levels of reliability, performance, and security. You will act as a bridge between development and operations, implementing automation, monitoring, and incident response processes that support our mission of financial inclusion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code for our cloud-native platform.
  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure platform health.
  • Manage incident response processes and conduct postmortem analyses.
  • Collaborate with development teams to enhance application reliability and performance.
  • Establish SLOs/SLIs and monitor reliability metrics.
  • Improve TechOps processes and rituals continuously.
  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Automate routine operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Assist in capacity planning and cost optimization.
  • Configure and maintain Datadog observability across AWS environments.
  • Create custom metrics, dashboards, and alerts in Datadog for system visibility.
  • Manage log workflows for troubleshooting and analysis.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or platform engineering roles.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS and containerization technologies.
  • Experience with AWS Networking, VPCs, Security Groups, VPNs, and MPLS.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Programming/scripting skills in Python, Go, or TypeScript.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, ArgoCD.
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and observability practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Datadog for infrastructure, APM, and logs.
  • Knowledge of security principles for cloud-native apps.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Background in incident management and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with AWS CloudWatch and third-party observability tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in fintech or regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards like PCI DSS and CIS v8.
  • Experience with Zero Trust security models and service mesh tech.
  • Background in performance tuning and capacity planning.
  • Knowledge of chaos engineering and distributed tracing.
  • Advanced Datadog skills, including custom agents and integrations.
  • Experience with Jira and project management tools.
