Site Project Engineer (Fit-out) - 12 Months Contract

Note: The project is located on a confidential island site. The employee will be required to work on the island for two weeks, followed by one week on the mainland.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with project teams to develop and review project plans, specifications, and layouts for fit-out and interior design projects.
2. Assist in setting project objectives, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and contractual requirements.
3. Coordinate daily project activities, ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout each phase of the project.
4. Review technical drawings, specifications, and design documents to ensure feasibility and compliance with industry standards.
5. Conduct site inspections to verify alignment with design plans, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
6. Manage changes in project scope, costs, and schedules while minimizing disruption and ensuring compliance with original specifications.
7. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, designers, and other project stakeholders.
8. Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of project milestones.
9. Foster positive relationships with clients by providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
10. Implement quality control measures throughout the project to ensure high standards in materials, finishes, and installations.
11. Monitor compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
12. Conduct post-installation inspections to confirm all elements meet client specifications and quality expectations.
13. Maintain detailed project records, including budgets, schedules, and change orders.
14. Prepare and submit regular progress reports to project management and clients.
15. Assist in the preparation of final project documentation, including as-built drawings and project handover materials.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Competencies:

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the UAE's Interior Fit Out / Construction industry.
• Proficient in English.
• Behavioral Competencies: Business Acumen, Communication, Ethical Practice, Critical Evaluation, Relationship Management.
• Technical Competencies: Proficiency in MS Office, project management skills, strong analytical, critical, and logical thinking skills.
