Job summary

Engineering Consortium Consulting Engineers is seeking a Site Mechanical Engineer to supervise and coordinate on-site mechanical construction activities. You will review drawings, submittals, and method statements to ensure compliance with project requirements and international standards.

The role requires close coordination with civil, architectural, electrical teams and effective supervision of contractors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
10–12 years of relevant construction/site experience.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical building services.
Experience in consultant-side supervision preferred.
Familiarity with international standards and local authority requirements.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP.

Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor mechanical construction activities on site (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, drainage, and other systems).
Review shop drawings, submittals, method statements, and specifications before and during installation.
Coordinate mechanical works with civil, architectural, electrical, and other disciplines to avoid clashes.
Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure works meet drawings and specs.
Attend site meetings and coordinate with contractor, consultant, and client.
