Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Site IT Leader to manage IT for multiple engine MRO facilities outside the United States, ensuring performance and availability of IT infrastructure and applications that support shop operations. The role partners with the business on digital improvements and leads the IT strategy across the site.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of IT leadership experience, strong networking oversight, and a track record of driving lean initiatives through technology.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of IT leadership experience in manufacturing/aviation or similar complex environments.
• Experience with IT infrastructure, applications, and digital tools across site operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the IT roadmap to drive digital improvements for shop operations.
• Influence business leaders and LPBs and drive technology decisions at the site.
• Represent information technology as part of the Shop leadership team.
• Partner with business to enable lean/process improvement initiatives using digital tools.
• Maintain awareness of site business applications and overall workflow.
• Understand the digital product catalog and its fit with site operations.
• Monitor network performance (WAN/LAN/WLAN) and escalate issues as needed.
• Collaborate with Central DT product teams for faster resolution of networking and application issues.
• Drive technology obsolescence and improvement projects.
