Job description

Responsibilities

• Site Supervision: Monitoring construction progress and quality of work to ensure it complies with designs and specifications. Ensure that construction activities are conducted according to the schedule and within the project's schedule
• Technical Advice: Provide technical support to construction teams, helping solve engineering-related problems on site. Interpret architectural and engineering drawings and provide clarity to sub-contractors and workers when needed.
• Liaison and Communication: Act as a liaison between clients, sub-contractors, consultants. Regularly communicate project updates and any on-site issues to senior engineers or Project Managers.
• Health and Safety: Ensure that safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times on the construction site. Conduct safety inspections and promote a safe work environment.
• Material and Equipment Management: Oversee the usage and storage of materials and construction equipment. Coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries and ensure quality materials are used.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, quality reports, and material usage. Report progress, delays, and other on-site issues to senior management or clients.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met. Identify and address potential quality issues before they become significant problems.
• Budget Management: Assist in monitoring and controlling project costs, ensuring that expenses are within the approved budget. Identify and report potential cost-saving measures.
• Other assigned works.

Qualifications

• Degree and Major: Bachelor, Civil Engineering, MEP Engineer or similar
• Work Experiences: at least 8 years’ project site works
• Character and Competence: Hard-working, team-work spirit, based in Saudi or UAE
• Language: Fluent in English Speaking and Writing
• Nationality: Arabic or others
• Mandatory Requirement: Registered with Society of Engineers in UAE and registered in Dubai or Abu Dhabi for one of the following Activities:
• (1) Land Digging, Filling & LeveLLing Works Certification by Abu Dhabi Municipality
• (2) Building Contracting G+12 Certification by Dubai Municipality
• (3) Port and marine engineering Certification by Abu Dhabi Municipality
