STEELTECH FABRICATION LLC is seeking a Mechanical Site Supervisor to oversee fabrication, maintenance, and shutdown activities at client sites. You will coordinate with Project Engineers, client representatives, QA/QC and Safety teams to ensure work is executed to approved drawings and method statements.
The role requires planning daily manpower, tools, and equipment, supervising crane and lifting operations, ensuring material traceability, and maintaining site records while upholding HSE
Supervise fabrication, maintenance, and shutdown activities at client sites. Coordinate with Project Engineer, Client Representatives, QA/QC, and Safety teams.
Execute work according to approved drawings, method statements, and client requirements to ensure timely completion.
Monitor structural steel fabrication and installation; supervise repair and replacement of steel structures, platforms, handrails, walkways, ducts, hoppers, and equipment supports.
Plan daily manpower, tools, consumables, and equipment; coordinate crane, forklift, and lifting activities.
Ensure proper material identification and traceability; monitor fabrication quality before client inspection; coordinate with QA/QC for inspections; ensure compliance with client Permit to Work (PTW) procedures.
Attend toolbox talks, daily coordination meetings; prepare daily progress and manpower reports; identify site issues and coordinate timely resolution.
Ensure proper housekeeping and compliance with HSE regulations; support emergency maintenance and breakdown jobs; coordinate shutdown activities to minimize plant downtime; maintain project documentation and daily site records.
Ensure client satisfaction through quality workmanship.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
