Job description

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Maintain product and company reputation by complying with MENA-WATER regulations.
  • Assist with Engineering Department for Electrical Layout drawings preparation, as needed.
  • Assist the Department Manager with material & man power requirements as per the site requirements.
  • Proactively coordinate with project managers, engineers, field technicians, and clients.
  • Traveling to clients' locations.
  • Meeting with clients to discuss project execution related issues and solve them in a timely manner.
  • Drawing electrical or mechanical schematics to demonstrate how processes will work.
  • Develop / Modify Electrical Layout, Cable Schedule & Test Reports.
  • Determining machine automation test criteria before the final installation.
  • Testing automated systems for efficiency, safety, and reliability.
  • Troubleshooting system errors.
  • Documenting development processes.
  • Providing clients with technical support.
  • Interfacing both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process.
  • Installation & Troubleshooting designated plant/machine.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on site management.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems design, installation, and maintenance.

Job-Specific Skills:
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, including drawings (Electrical Layout, Cable Schedule, Site Materials Requirement etc.) and test aspects of process plants.
  • Co-ordinate with Client/Contractor engineers for Material / Work Inspection at site.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Co-ordinate with inter-departments, other engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely project completion.
  • Supervise and manage electrical installation and report any deviations from plans to the management team.
  • Provide guidance to troubleshoot electrical issues on-site.
  • Provide guidance on installation & wiring of Field Instruments (Flow/Pressure/Level Transmitters, Solenoid/Motorized Valves, and so on).
  • I/O Loop Testing, Start-up & commissioning activities at project sites.
