Job summary

Careers International invites applications for a Civil & MEP contracting role in the UAE. You will supervise day-to-day electrical installation per drawings and specs, coordinate with foremen, and prepare daily progress reports for ongoing building projects.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 1–5 years site experience, knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office, and strong English communication. GCC experience is an advantage and UAE benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 1 to 5 years of site experience in building construction (MEP); GCC experience is an advantage.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and understand IEC/BS standards.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day electrical installation works as per approved drawings and specifications
• Monitor conduiting, cable laying, DB/panel installation, wiring and lighting works
• Read and interpret shop drawings; raise material requests and track deliveries
• Coordinate with foremen and chargehands on daily work allocation
• Raise inspection requests and attend consultant inspections
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site records
• Ensure safe working practices and HSE compliance on site

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• 1 to 5 years of site experience in building construction (MEP); GCC experience is an advantage
• Ability to read electrical drawings and understand IEC/BS standards
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office
• Valid passport (minimum 2 years validity)
• Good communication skills in English; Hindi/Arabic is an advantage
• Ready to join at the earliest / within the notice period
