Job Title: Site Engineer

Qualifications: Diploma in Civil Engineering or Bachelor of Technology/Engineering.

Nationality: Male candidates only.

Job Description

The Site Engineer is a key member of the site management team, responsible for ensuring the successful execution of construction projects by maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and technical compliance. This role involves technical, organizational, and supervisory responsibilities. The Site Engineer marks out the site, ensures accurate implementation of designs, and liaises with main and sub-contractors as well as the site manager.

The Site Engineer must execute the project according to approved drawings, designs, schedules, and method statements, without compromising safety or quality, and using only approved materials. Maintaining a strong professional relationship with client engineers is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the day-to-day management of the site, including supervision and monitoring of labor and subcontractors.
  2. Ensure all materials and work performed meet project specifications.
  3. Supervise the selection and requisition of materials.
  4. Interpret and monitor project designs and drawings provided by the client.
  5. Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce.
  6. Plan work effectively and organize site facilities to meet deadlines.
  7. Ensure compliance with quality control procedures and health & safety standards on site.
  8. Prepare regular reports and documentation as required.
  9. Verify materials and ongoing work for compliance with requirements.
  10. Enforce safety procedures and site regulations.
  11. Implement quality control in accordance with approved method statements, quality plans, and inspection & test plans (ITPs).
  12. Provide data and documentation related to variation orders and site instructions.
  13. Maintain detailed site records, including drawings, technical reports, and site diaries.
Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification: BE / DCE

Experience: 1-2 years of relevant professional exposure.
