Job description

• Assist Project Manager in plan review to determine constructability improvements through various development cycles / Assist Project Manager/ Area Owners in getting building constructions and necessary permits and other required documents for the project until handing over to end users.
• Understands appropriate building codes/ regulations
• · Ensure that end-to-end project planning, risk identification, dependency tracking, issues identification / escalation, and change management are being managed, utilizing best practice project management standards.
• Perform project supervisions & contractors and engineering for Construction fit out building works, including but not limited to scope definition, design, budgeting, scheduling, layouts,
• · Apply understanding of safety principles & building standard Practices for the food industry (Building practices) to engineering projects.
• Assist the project team with executions, progress, completions & closeout of the project.
• Understand Project plans and Specifications, study Job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods
• Assists the project team with site safety documentation and coordination.
• Maintain control of all project documentation, and distribute project plans, update project records.
• Able to work flexible hours and multi-task, multiple locations in a fast paced, dynamic, high-pressured environment - managing changing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Manage schedules, costs, and other key deliverables per the approved project plan.
• Have good knowledge of construction Civil works, fit out and MEP among other technical skills
• Support cost reduction and efficiency improvement programs by participating and leading teams to review construction works Develop and implement solutions. Facilitate improvement workshops and manage improvement projects

Desired Candidate Profile

- Diploma or bachelor's degree in civil or MEP Engineering

- 3 to 4 years of experience in general maintenance & executing all the MEP works in various facilities

- Familiar with building construction responsibilities (built-in and fit-out job); familiar with construction processes and laws

- Experience of turn-key projects (should be large-scale projects)

- Team management skills and flexible to work in multiple locations; experience on AutoCAD, Excel, PowerPoint, Revette and Project Management is optional.
