Site Engineer

Mission

Supporting the Site Manager in the management of operations teams and equipment, to ensure

the execution of the work of the assignment site, with impact on time/costs, quality, and safety,

in compliance with environmental regulations

Main Responsibilities:

1. Coordinating operations teams’ activities to ensure that the work is performed continuously, in alignment with the work program, applying the "Method Statement"

2. Drawing up daily production reports

3. Complying with Technical Specifications contents of the single work typologies, applying

Quality Control Plans provisions

4. Detecting and reporting to the Site Manager any non-conformities, including those

relating to supplied materials

5. Checking, both in advance and during the execution of the work, the efficiency of equipment, work systems and individual and collective protection devices in order to guarantee the security and the protection of workers' health

6. Supporting the Site Manager in ensuring the proper application of current safety, quality

and environmental regulations and standards

7. Reporting to the Site Manager any subordinate personnel’ misconducts and/or situations

that could represent an immediate and/or future danger

8. Monitoring the routine and non-routine maintenance of equipment, reporting any damage

9. Supporting the Site Manager in the management of attendance, replacements and site

personnel movements suggesting, where necessary, personnel mobility after relevant

production decreases

10. Performing additional assignments per supervisor’s and/or project management’s direction

11. Complying with and promoting the Code of Ethics, procedures, and safety standards, in

compliance with current legislation

Main Hard Skills:

1. Knowledge of technologies and work processes in soil consolidation and foundation works

2. knowledge of the workplace safety legislation

3. Knowledge of environmental regulations and following changes, additions, and updates in the professional area of reference

4. Knowledge of application software of the professional area of reference

5. Reporting Skills

6. Geotechnical Knowledge
