Job summary

Confidential Construction Company in Dubai is seeking an experienced Storekeeper to manage materials, tools, equipment, and inventory for villa construction projects. The role requires knowledge of construction materials, inventory control, documentation, and efficient store operations.

The successful candidate will maintain accurate stock records, coordinate with project teams, ensure proper storage, issuance, and tracking of materials on site, and comply with safety and site procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of Storekeeper experience, preferably on UAE construction sites.
• Good knowledge of civil, MEP, finishing, and general construction materials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory/stock reporting.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and daily inventory records.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• UAE construction experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory control, stock management, Material In/Out records, GRNs, Delivery Notes, Material Issue procedures, and construction-site materials and tools management.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, record, and store incoming construction materials
• Maintain accurate stock and inventory records for materials, tools, and equipment
• Issue materials to site teams against approved requests and maintain proper documentation
• Monitor inventory levels and notify relevant teams about material shortages
• Maintain Material In/Out records, Delivery Notes, GRNs, and Material Issue documentation
• Keep the store organized, properly labelled, clean, and secure
• Maintain records of power tools, hand tools, and equipment issued to workers and subcontractors
• Coordinate with Procurement, Site Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, and subcontractors on material deliveries
• Report damaged, missing, excess, or incorrect materials immediately
• Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile inventory with system records
