Job summary

KWEC | Al Khawajah Engineering Consultants in Dubai seeks a full-time Site Civil Engineer to oversee civil works on construction sites, ensuring designs are implemented correctly and compliant with local regulations.

You will monitor site activities, review drawings, coordinate with contractors and consultants, inspect infrastructure like grading, utilities and stormwater, and contribute to safety and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline; professional membership or registration is an advantage.
• Previous on-site experience in building or infrastructure projects, ideally within the UAE or GCC region.
• Experience working as part of teams of Civil Engineers on construction sites, coordinating with multidisciplinary professionals and contractors.
• Knowledge of Stormwater Management and related infrastructure design, installation, and inspection in urban developments.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, civil design tools) and strong technical drawing interpretation skills.
• Strong civil engineering fundamentals, including Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant codes and standards.
• Planning and site coordination skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress monitoring for civil works.
• Strong understanding of local building regulations, authority requirements, and health and safety practices.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to document site activities and prepare clear reports.
