Job summary

John Wood Group PLC is recruiting an experienced PMC Senior Civil Engineer for ADNOC Onshore in Abu Dhabi. The role is based full time at the ASAB site with responsibilities spanning Civil and Structural design and compliance with ADNOC standards.

The position offers exposure to major energy projects, collaboration with EPC contractors, and opportunities for professional development within a global engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Provide technical expertise in Civil and Structural design.
• Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards.
• Coordinate, monitor and handle Civil and Structural Engineering design with EPC Contractor as per project expectations.
• Collaborate with IPMT, EPC Contractor and ADNOC Engineering/Operation/Site Interface to resolve technical issues and ensure quality.
• Perform regular technical reviews of deliverables ensuring design quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in all Civil and Structural design.
• Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards.
• Coordinate, monitor and handle Civil and Structural Engineering design and engineering with EPC Contractor as per project expectation and complete the same within the time frame.
• Work with other discipline engineers within IPMT, EPC Contractor, ADNOC Engineering / Operation / Site Interface to resolve technical issues and ensure quality Discipline Engineering execution and integrity etc.
• Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Civil and Structural Engineering deliverables developed by engineering consultants/contractors, ensuring design quality in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
