Job summary

DBB is seeking a site-based Project Logistics Construction Manager to lead logistics planning and operations for a major construction project in Abu Dhabi. You will coordinate movement, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment to support site progress while complying with safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain management or construction management.
• Experience supporting large or complex construction projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of construction-site logistics, material handling and inventory control.
• Familiarity with UAE logistics requirements, permits and customs processes.
• Strong leadership, planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the project logistics plan in coordination with the construction schedule and site requirements.
• Manage deliveries, transportation, unloading, storage, and distribution of construction materials and equipment.
• Coordinate with project management, construction, procurement, suppliers, subcontractors, transport providers, and authorities.
• Plan site access, traffic management, delivery schedules, laydown areas, warehouses, and material-handling arrangements.
• Monitor logistics activities against milestones and resolve delays or bottlenecks affecting site progress.
• Oversee inventory tracking, logistics documentation, shipment records, permits, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate local and international shipments and customs clearance, where required.
• Monitor logistics costs, forecast, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Ensure operations comply with project procedures and health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and report on logistics performance, risks and mitigation plans.
• Lead and coordinate site logistics personnel and service providers.
