Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Site Architect to join our team based in Abu Dhabi.

The Site Architect will play a key role in monitoring construction activities, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring the design intent is fully realized on-site.

We envisage success in this role to include;

  • Act as the primary architectural representative on-site, ensuring that the contractor's work aligns with approved design drawings and specifications.

  • Review shop drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, and method statements for architectural works.

  • Monitor site activities to ensure architectural works are carried out in compliance with local regulations, codes, and project requirements.

  • Coordinate with contractors, MEP teams, structural engineers, and other disciplines to resolve design and construction issues.

  • Participate in site meetings, technical reviews, and inspections, providing architectural input and guidance.

  • Issue site instructions, review RFIs, and prepare architectural punch lists and inspection reports.

  • Ensure the timely identification and resolution of non-conformances related to architectural elements.

  • Liaise closely with the design team and project management to maintain the integrity of the design intent.

  • Assist in the preparation of progress reports and documentation for client and internal use.


Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 12 years of work experience partnered with a relevant Bachelor's degree.

  • Must have site-based experience on large commercial or retail developments.

  • Previous experience with mall or mixed-use projects in the UAE, particularly in Abu Dhabi.

  • Strong knowledge of local building codes, authority regulations, and international standards.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and other relevant architectural tools

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and multi-disciplinary drawings.

  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with construction methodologies, sequencing, and quality assurance processes.
