Site and Engineering Coordinator

1. Configuration & all Commissioning work / Site Handling

Act as a link between We One Department, We One and other stakeholders during the implementation of the security system. Define functional specifications for security solution projects in liaison with DP World and ensure clear communication on clarification of technical interfaces with the stakeholder, Consultants and/or contractor for future discrepancies. Liaison with project personnel responsible for implementation of the project tasks, and with We One Office for proposals on a regular basis.

2. Site Survey / Planning

Conduct site survey, prepare assessment reports, and identify suitable security solutions based on requirements and site conditions. Follow up and conduct spot checks on ongoing activities for quality control; coordinate the definition of an appropriate monitoring system for the project with the appropriate plans of follow-up indicators. Update indicators, achievements, activities, and results according to the project Log.

Co-ordinate with Security for the risk assessment and Security Plan when necessary to understand and analyze the security requirements of the DP World, reporting to WS Engineering office and dotted line reporting to DP We One Department. Plan workshops along with DP World and relevant stakeholders to identify the security scope of works to be delivered for projects, identify needs for further or specific training, equipment, support, and elaborate terms of orientation.

3. Team Work and Communication

Encouraging and building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation with DP World. Communication with LINE Manager, Peers, or Subordinates, providing information to supervisors and co-workers in written form. Ensure uninterrupted communication with We One office, coordination of technical meetings and agenda.

Ensure that We One's interests are protected with all DPW projects at all times.

4. Project Monitoring and Reporting

Oversee the project to verify quality & compliance with standards. Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to WS Engineering office and dotted line reporting to DP We One Department on the movement of all ongoing DP We One System projects and new proposals.

5. Special Projects

As and when assigned by the LINE Manager and Internal Meeting.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communication / Electrical / IT Engineering.

PMP Certification Preferred.

Years of industry experience and on-the-job training.

Practical Experience / Skills

5 plus years of related industry experience, preferably in the Security Engineering field, with a minimum of three years of experience in configuration and all commissioning works for integrated security system projects. Should have robust industry knowledge and be up-to-date with emerging technology trends in CCTV, Access Control, and Integrated Security Solutions. Should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, good organization and reporting skills, must be customer-focused, creative, and a team player.
