Job summary

A construction recruitment firm is seeking a highly organized Admin Assistant to support the construction team in Abu Dhabi. The candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Admin Assistant to join our team at a construction site in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry. This is a full-time position with a 1-year contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • - Provide administrative support to the construction site team, including project managers, engineers, and other staff members
  • - Maintain and update project documentation, including contracts, permits, and drawings
  • - Prepare and distribute project-related correspondence, such as meeting agendas and minutes
  • - Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and site visits
  • - Monitor and track project progress and deadlines
  • - Assist with procurement activities, including obtaining quotes and processing purchase orders
  • - Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • - Maintain and organize project files and records
  • - Prepare and submit expense reports
  • - Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers as needed
  • - Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the project manager

Qualifications:

  • - High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration is a plus
  • - Minimum of 2 years of experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in the construction industry
  • - Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • - Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • - Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel
  • - Good communication and interpersonal skills
