Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shuttering Carpenter to join our client construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing formwork (shuttering) used to shape concrete for structural elements such as beams, slabs, columns, and walls. You must have a strong understanding of construction drawings and be able to work safely and efficiently on busy job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret construction blueprints and technical drawings.
• Measure, cut, and assemble shuttering (formwork) using wood, metal, or plastic.
• Install temporary structures for pouring concrete (e.g., walls, columns, foundations).
• Ensure alignment, levels, and support are accurate before concrete pouring.
• Remove shuttering after concrete has set, without damaging the structure.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow all health and safety regulations on-site.
