Job description

The role supports the Dealer Principal in the sales division, managing the full sales process to achieve the agreed sales budget. This includes performance management in lead generation, enquiry handling, and ensuring the sales team follows a professional process to deliver a first-class customer experience during the purchase journey. The role also involves supporting the sales team to achieve sales volume and profit margins, including all add-on products. Additionally, it encompasses supporting the finance process for vehicle purchases and managing customer expectations.

Strategic:
  1. Manage key performance indicators to maximize sales opportunities.
  2. Support the Dealer Principal in managing the annual budget to achieve unit sales, gross margin retention, and income from add-on products such as finance and insurance.
  3. Assist sales operations to maximize unit sales and minimize aging stock.
  4. Manage the sales and transaction processes using available tools such as the dealer management system.
  5. Support the Dealer Principal in training and development aligned with the AG Auto way of selling.
Operational:
  1. Conduct daily sales meetings to monitor all sales inquiries and activities via the DMS.
  2. Manage finance and insurance processes, including revenue from finance, insurance, and accessories.
  3. Provide second-face support to maximize sales opportunities.
  4. Ensure all sales follow through to meet customer expectations.
  5. Drive customer engagement programs to meet brand and business standards.
  6. Handle customer complaints with effective resolution.
  7. Support the maintenance of the showroom display, ensuring hygiene and safety standards are met.
  8. Ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements to protect customer data.
  9. Act as a brand ambassador, leading by example.
People Management:
  1. Provide coaching and support regarding performance and behavior.
  2. Collaborate with HR for hiring processes.
  3. Ensure disciplinary procedures are followed according to company and legal standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Experience in a customer-facing sales process, with financial awareness of banking processes.
  • Over 3 years in operational management, preferably in automotive sector.
  • Over 8 years in a sales environment.
  • Open to a 3-4 months contract.
