The Showroom Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the daily operations, sales, and client experience of the luxury furniture showroom. This role requires a strong balance of leadership, sales expertise, and design knowledge, with the ability to cultivate lasting relationships with architects, interior designers, consultants, and high-net-worth clients. The Showroom Manager ensures that every visitor receives an elevated, tailored experience that reflects the brand’s identity and commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Achieve and exceed showroom sales targets, focusing on luxury residential, hospitality, and commercial projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with architects, designers, consultants, and key decision-makers.
- Act as a design consultant, guiding clients through product selection, customization, finishes, and space planning.
- Generate new business opportunities through networking, partnerships, and participation in industry events.
- Ensure high conversion of leads to sales while maintaining average transaction values aligned with the luxury segment.
Client Experience
- Provide a personalized, consultative approach to each client, ensuring their unique requirements are met.
- Organize private showroom tours, design presentations, and VIP client events.
- Handle complex client requests with discretion, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity.
- Ensure after-sales support and service meet luxury hospitality standards.
Showroom Operations & Presentation
- Manage daily operations of the showroom, ensuring impeccable presentation at all times.
- Work closely with the visual merchandising team to implement seasonal displays and interior concepts.
- Monitor inventory, custom orders, and delivery timelines, ensuring seamless client experiences.
- Oversee supplier coordination, logistics, and quality control for furniture installations.
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team with strong sales and design capabilities.
- Provide ongoing coaching and performance reviews to ensure sales and service excellence.
- Foster a collaborative environment that reflects the brand’s values and service culture.
Reporting & Administration
- Track and report on sales performance, KPIs, and showroom traffic.
- Prepare monthly business reviews with insights on trends, best-sellers, and client feedback.
- Manage budgets, operational expenses, and overall profitability of the showroom.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and health & safety regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in luxury furniture, interior design, or high-end showroom management.
- Proven track record in luxury sales, client development, and project management.
- Strong understanding of interior design principles, space planning, and furniture customization.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems; design software knowledge (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D tools) is an advantage.
- Multilingual skills (English + Arabic, French, or Russian) highly desirable.
