Overview
The Boutique Manager is accountable for sales performance, focusing on growth and profitability, customer satisfaction, merchandising standards, store operations, and the training and development of the entire staff.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for achieving Annual Budget of the showroom (100%), Brand Budget (80%), Effective Showroom Visual Merchandising & Operations (85% score), Customer Service Excellence (DSES 100%), Stock Pilferage (0%).
- Lead a highly motivated and performing showroom team (85% of team members achieve 100% of their objectives).
- Customer Experience / Sales: Ensure high standards of customer service across all operations; ensure staff have knowledge of their areas; maintain customer service standards at point of sale; resolve customer complaints within company policies and procedures.
- Drive marketing and promotions: support merchandising changes in consultation with the visual merchandising team; plan manpower and stock to support campaigns with minimal disruption.
- Drive Sales & Profitability: participate in monthly forecasting, monitor progress through weekly meetings, and take corrective actions to meet monthly and yearly budgets; meet or exceed profitability targets for store in sales, payroll, shrink, and conversion.
- Operational Effectiveness: control assets and losses; comply with all policies and procedures; work with Operations Manager and Department Managers to maintain brand integrity and store operations; identify and reduce high-risk areas; seek cost-saving opportunities.
- Team Management: maintain a motivated store team; coach, counsel, discipline, plan, monitor, and appraise performance; oversee cashiering activities; manage annual leave and ensure back-office records are up to date; develop Second Incharge.
- Self-Development: pursue product training and professional development.
- People Development / HR: recruit, hire, develop, and retain high-quality management and associates; lead by example and provide ongoing coaching on product knowledge, selling skills, and customer experience; organize weekly staff meetings and daily briefings to communicate performance and goals.
What equips you for the role

- 4-5 years’ experience as a store in-charge with a proven track record in driving sales and profit and in training and developing a team
