Job summary

Miral Experiences Warner Brothers Abu Dhabi is seeking a maintenance technician to support the Show Technology department. The role focuses on maintaining AV, lighting and related systems for rides and attractions to ensure safety and guest satisfaction.

You will perform daily checks, preventive maintenance, and downtime response while interpreting diagrams and organizing cables. A Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Communications or Computer Engineering and 1+ years of AVL maintenance

Clear understanding of both written and spoken English.
Primary and secondary color identification.
Good speaking and hearing ability.
Extensive knowledge in projectors, QSC, Dante, show control systems, media servers and IP networks.
Ability to comprehend one-line drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily checks, startup, closing procedures, preventive and corrective maintenance of AVL systems for all rides and attractions.
Ensure AVL systems are prepared well in advance of park hours.
Maintain safety of all colleagues and guests by ensuring rides and attractions are safe.
Promptly respond to and resolve any downtime issues with the rides and attractions.
Minimize downtime by performing preventive maintenance per manufacturer requirements.
Report and communicate issues affecting safe operation of AVL systems to Team Leaders.
Complete and submit all preventive maintenance checklists by deadlines.
Test, label and organize cables and products before, during and after installation.
Assemble racks and install equipment as required.
Ensure corrective maintenance prevents recurrence.
Attend trainings and development programs.

Job description

The primary objective of this role is to facilitate the seamless and effective operation of Miral Experiences Leisure Facilities within the Technical Services Show Technology Department, which directly influences the maintenance of rides, and attractions, in alignment with the Company Core Process.

This position is responsible for providing comprehensive maintenance to maintain and improve the audio, visual, and lighting functionality, safety, and appearance of all rides, attractions, and facilities, with the goal of ensuring guest satisfaction.

AREA(S) OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Conduct daily checks, startup, closing procedures, preventive and corrective maintenance of AVL systems for all rides and attractions.

Ensure that the AVL systems for rides and attractions are prepared well in advance of the park's operational hours.

Maintain and prioritize the safety of all colleagues and guests by ensuring the rides and attractions are safe.

Promptly respond to and resolve any downtime issues with the rides and attractions.

Minimize downtime by performing preventive maintenance activities in accordance with manufacturer's requirements.

Report and communicate any issues or concerns affecting the safe operation of AVL systems for rides and attractions to Team Leaders.

Complete and submit all preventive maintenance checklists to Team Leaders by the designated deadline.

Possess the ability to comprehend single line diagrams for audio, video, and lighting systems, as well as rack elevation diagrams.

Familiarize oneself with the functions of products and solutions offered by the Show Technology department.

Take responsibility for testing, labelling, and organizing various types of cables and products before, during, and after installation.

Assemble racks and install equipment as required.

Ensure that all corrective maintenance is performed effectively to prevent recurring issues.

Attend briefings, training sessions, and development programs to promote personal growth.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Communications or Computer Engineering.

Technical education/training in vocational training institute in their field of expertise. (Technical).

1+ years relevant working experience in the maintenance of AVL equipment in a theme park or hospitality environment.

1+ years experiences in the installation, troubleshooting and repair of electronic devices and components.

Clear understanding of both written and spoken English.

Primary and secondary color identification.

Good speaking and hearing ability.

Extensive knowledge in one or more of the following areas: projectors, QSC, Dante, show control systems, show lighting, media servers, and relevant certifications. Proficient in understanding IP network systems.
