Job summary

Miral Experiences is seeking a skilled Tailor to maintain and create costume pieces for shows and events. You will repair, alter, and produce costumes in-house, including pattern making, cutting and stitching, supporting the Costuming team to achieve artistic goals.

You will work closely with Senior Tailors and Costume Management, ensuring show-ready garments, accurate fittings, and high production values across properties, with attention to detail and safety.

Qualifications

• Higher secondary education or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 3 years sewing background.
• Sewing and tailoring skills for hand and machine work.
• Knowledge of cutting, fitting and patternmaking.
• Able to operate industrial and home sewing machines including serger.
• Excellent English language skills and experience with performers.
• Desirable: theatre-related qualification or experience with theme parks or shows.

Responsibilities

• Alter and repair existing costumes for show productions.
• Assist with alterations and costume fabrication as needed.
• Assist in daily laundry, washing, ironing and steaming costumes.
• Dressing performers in backstage or Green Rooms as required.
• Build new costumes and overlays from design to show-ready.
• Assist in costume inventory and stock management.
• Participate in department meetings and share best practices.
