Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology is seeking an experienced Shopify Theme Developer to design, develop, and maintain fast, conversion-focused Shopify stores. The role emphasizes user experience, performance, SEO, and seamless integration with apps.

The candidate will work with design, marketing, and e-commerce teams to implement responsive, scalable storefronts on Shopify Online Store 2.0 with a strong focus on furniture/e-commerce projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Shopify development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Shopify Online Store 2.0 and Liquid.
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and responsive design.
• Experience with JSON templates, sections, blocks, snippets, metafields, and metaobjects.
• Experience with Shopify CLI and Git/version control.
• Ability to convert designs into fully functional Shopify pages.
• Portfolio of live Shopify stores showing scope and quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom Shopify themes from scratch or customize existing themes.
• Convert designs (Figma/Adobe XD/PSD) into responsive Shopify pages.
• Build homepage sections, collection pages, product pages, and checkout related pages.
• Create reusable sections/blocks using Online Store 2.0 architecture.
• Work with Liquid, JSON templates, sections, blocks, and metafields.
• Configure products with multiple variations (color, size, material, finish).
• Integrate and customize Shopify apps and third-party services.
• Improve speed, Core Web Vitals, and overall theme performance.
• Ensure sites are mobile-friendly and SEO-optimized.
• Use Git for version control and document custom features for non-technical teams.
