Job summary

Chic Le Frique in Dubai seeks an experienced Shopify developer to build and maintain custom features for a Shopify Plus luxury fashion brand. You will work on theme development, API integrations, and platform optimization with a strong UI/UX emphasis.

Responsibilities include implementing Liquid themes, building custom apps, and integrating third-party services. The role requires attention to detail, robust problem-solving, and collaboration with design and product teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Shopify development experience (2–5 years).
• Experience with Shopify Plus, Liquid, and advanced features.
• Strong JavaScript, React, and UI/UX sensibility.
• Ability to read Figma designs and implement components accurately.
• Backend knowledge: Node.js, RESTful APIs, GraphQL basics.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and version control (Git).
• Clear communication and problem-solving with a self-directed approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Shopify Plus themes (Liquid, sections, responsive design).
• Build and integrate custom Shopify apps via REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Integrate third-party services (payments, CRM, analytics, returns).
• Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect code for the store.
• Optimize performance, speed, UX, and Core Web Vitals.
• Develop backend solutions and microservices (Node.js, webhooks).
• Troubleshoot platform issues and collaborate with product teams.
