Capi-Lux (Capi) is seeking a Shop Assistant for our Abu Dhabi International Airport shop. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, assisting travelers, and supporting day-to-day store operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

Ideal candidates are customer-focused, communicative, and adaptable, with experience in retail or service roles. Visa sponsorship and health insurance are provided, with annual air-ticket benefits and UAE labour law leave.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or customer service roles.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and cash-handling proficiency.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends/evenings/holidays.
• Knowledge of retail operations and POS familiarity.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Eligible to work at Abu Dhabi International Airport and obtain security clearances.

Job Description

We are currently seeking Shop Assistant to join our team at Abu Dhabi International Airport. The ideal candidate is motivated and customer-oriented individual.

The candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to travelers and assisting with the day-to-day operations of our retail shop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist customers with product inquiries, recommendations, and purchases, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment, including product displays and merchandising.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit card payments, and refunds.
• Monitor stock levels and replenish merchandise on the shop floor as needed to ensure availability and visibility of products.
• Assist with receiving and unpacking deliveries, checking the quality and quantity of goods received, and updating inventory records.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the retail shop.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
• Stay informed about product features, promotions, and special offers to effectively communicate information to customers.
• Assist with occasional tasks such as store opening and closing procedures, as well as periodic stock takes and inventory counts.
