Job summary

A Group in Dubai is hiring a Shipping Assistant to support daily shipping and logistics operations, coordinate documentation, and assist with timely movement of shipments. Freshers and experienced candidates with good organizational and communication skills are welcome.

You will prepare, check, and organize shipping documents; track shipments; and liaise with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, and transport companies to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree expected or preferred.
• Freshers are welcome to apply.
• Strong MS Office and computer skills required.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage documents accurately and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn shipping and logistics procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily shipping and logistics activities.
• Prepare, check, and organize shipping documents.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, and transport companies.
• Assist with import and export shipment processing.
• Track shipments and provide status updates.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and related documents.
• Assist with booking transportation and delivery arrangements.
• Follow up on pending shipments and delivery schedules.
• Support customs clearance documentation when required.
• Enter and update shipment information in company systems.
• Communicate with internal departments regarding shipment requirements.
• Perform other administrative and shipping-related duties as assigned.
